Dewisland Peoples Shed
The SHED is here for everyone, for any sort of hobby or activity.
With a range of tools and several workbenches, the SHED will be up and running shortly. Get in touch to find out when you can come in to do whatever craft or hobby work you want to do, or to mend things, or to bring things that need mending, or just to have a chat.
We are, presently, in the old Scout Hut in Ffynon Wen, St Davids.
If you are frustrated at home, because you want to be involved in a craft of some sort but you don’t have the tools, or the know-how, or the friends you might work with, then come to the SHED. You can work by yourself, or in a group (such as a club). You can, indeed, bring a group with you and use the facilities.
The SHED is here for everyone, for any sort of hobby or activity, from model-making to I.T., to wood or metal work, to gardening, to just drinking coffee/tea. We have a laptop computer and an iPad, both freely available for your use.
Just drop in for a chat and see the place.
Regular opening times have now been established and an Opening Event is coming up soon!
Keep an eye out for details or ring 07946418439. See you there!
The Dewisland People's Shed is a group of people from the community that aims to promote both men's and women's health and wellbeing via social interaction and practical activities. Comprising different independent social groups they are helping men and women to learn something new, share skills and form new friendships.
It is more about the people than the actual physical place that houses the 'People's Shed'.
The Dewisland People's Shed is presently located in the old Scout Hut in Ffynon Wen, St Davids SA62 6SH.
The Shed will be open from Tuesday 7th December 2021 10:00 - 12:00 weekly until 21st December 2021.
It will re-open on Tuesday 4th January 2022 10:00 - 12:00 weekly until further notice.
We look forward to welcoming you.
